Comments
Attempted to over drill casing in order to replace and extend the concrete surface seal. Hit refusal, there was a steel ring or flange welded to the casing. Original report stated seal was 10+ feet, hit steel ring at 8 feet. Sealed back up with 8 sacks of 3/8" chips bentonite then concreted back in the floor. Consulted with Joel Jefferies throughout the project. Also see MARI 6683.
