Basic Hydraulic Training
Course Description: Theory and principles of basic fluid power, it's control and uses.
Course Outline: The student will learn the nomenclature of design, components, and the effect of
each on the operation and function of the system. Student will build three schematic designs.
The student will be taught how to troubleshoot a system using a schematic. (1 day course)
Course Content: Introduction and principles of fluid power, hydraulic fluids, hydraulic fluid
conductors and seals, reservoirs, hydraulic pumps, contamination control, hydraulic actuators,
directional controls, pressure controls and flow controls, ISO symbol identification.
Troubleshooting of systems using ISO symbols and circuits.
