Most contractors do not understand all of the benefits of owning a low-cost video camera, and find them hard to use unless the well water is crystal clear. This course will cover more than a dozen tips and techniques for using a camera in cloudy/dirty wells. As specified in CFR 1910.120 (e)(8), NGWA will offer the eight-hour refresher training for those who have taken the 40-hour HAZWOPER course. The training will focus on health and safety training for ground-water professionals. Changes in OSHA rules and interpretations will be discussed. The session will include examples of actual incidents that have occurred in the field, as well as litigation case histories involving drillers and consultants. There is no cost, but pre-registration is required. Proof of having completed the 40-hour training or a timely annual refresher will be required at the beginning of the course.
