Kristen Fearn Please deny the request for this application. One individual should not be able to use water that belogs to all for personal gain. This valley can't support an ongoing water grab for 40 years
Corey Castro I strongly oppose these permits. I have friends that live in the valley and this is not right to take the water that they need to live. I support the homeowners right to water not a company that wants to strip the land and impact the environment in a negative way. Again, I strongly oppose the permits and do not support them in anyway.

Edith McDonald ? Please do not grant this permit for this pond for the following reasons: ? 3 out of 4 ponds coincide with mining pits. Since Blech is determined to mine here and dig mining pits as deep as possible, give him the little pond and he will take the whole bottom of the valley. ? The ponds’ capacity is only sufficient for a few months’ operation. Blech will have to violate the permits to mine. ? None of the pond application can be approved outright because they require a Land Use Compatibility Statement. JoCo Planning requires a zoning change, which SVSG does not have. ? ODFW (Oregon Dept. of Fish and Wildlife) clearly conditions the January-March water storage period with an "if the instream flow requirements are being met". ? If this pond application is granted on a conditional or provisional basis, please see SVSG’s/Havilah’s/Jack Smith’s history of violating conditions. ? One more example of the Appications being faulty is that Blech claims possession of an easement (under Application ITEM # 5 "PROPERTY OWNERSHIP") and then lists Andreas & Carole Blech as the only ‘affected land owners’. Blechs are NOT owners of TL1002, which is the diversion location for water from Grave Creek, and have not submitted copy of an easement. ? The report of Blech's own hydrologist, Shannon and Wilson, Inc., indicates that the proposed mining operation could likely interfere with some of the residents' wells. especially #1 and #2 wells in the area would likely have their levels lowered if there is mining in the area. Since the proposed ponds coincide with the proposed mining pits and OWRD should take this into consideration. The complete hydrologist’s report can be provided. ? PLEASE DO NOT GRANT THIS PERMIT

Susan Walters I oppose the Sunny Valley Sand and Gravel proposed aggregate mine. It will do untold damage to the community. I ask you to please put the residents and the land before the profits of a few people. They propose a horrible open put quarry in the midst of a quiet rural neighborhood. If approved, it will destroy so much more than land values, domestic wells and wildlife. Please deny this request. Sincerely, Susan Walters 1255 Sunny Valley Loop Sunny Valley, Oregon 97497
Deborah Creek- (-)I am strongly opposed to the mining application due to close family friends whose water supplies will be compromised. I am also concerned about the impact to the rivers and wildlife habitats.
Katherine Berkeley  I visit often & I strongly disagree with the permits.
