Salem Ditch is located within 1420 feet and down gradient of the proposed well. The groundwater analysis indicates a hydraulic connection with surface water sources within 1 mile but fails to include analysis of the interference and direct effects on Salem Ditch. We request adequate analysis be completed or the well use be conditioned to ensure Santiam Water Control District rights and patrons are not injured.
