Comments
This 12-in well was 170 ft deep with a 20 ft static water level. The well was perforated below the perforations & cemented. After the cement hardened the remainder of the well was perforated. Cement mixed with 4% bentonite was pumped into the well, filling the well to the top. The cement settled 3 ft and was topped with bentonite. 24-in of casing was cut off leaving the top of the casing approx. 24 inch below ground level. 84 sacks of cement & 4 sacks of bentonite were used to abandon this well.
